| LATEST NEWSMango Trials with South Australia and VictoriaBased on data collected during market access trials between the Northern Territory, South Australia and Victoria, the Domestic Quarantine and Market Access Working Group has agreed to remove pre-harvest treatments for the mango cultivars Calypso, R2E2 and Honey Gold. Amended ICA ProtocolsThe ICA Protocol for the Inspection of Fruits and Vegetables, Live Plants, Cut Flowers and Foliage for Melon Thrips (ICA-38) has also been amended to allow for end-point and in-line inspections for fruits and vegetables, cut flowers and foliage, and now live plants. New ICA Operational ProceduresNew Interstate Certification Assurance Operational Procedures for Irradiation Treatment (ICA-55) and Pre-Harvest Baiting and Inspection for Pest Free Areas (ICA-56) are now in place.
